If you are into goose liver (top noch food specialy of Hungary) Then you shouldn’t miss this event.

10 winemakers of the Tokaj wine region.

“This year we are organising the Goose Liver Festival for the fourth time. Until this year the Festival was held at Orosháza, the capital of goose liver and this is the first time we organise the event at the Buda Castle. The previous Festivals had about 12-15 thousands of visitors, consuming about 1200 kg of goose liver each year. One of the main purposes of the Festival is to offer everyone the opportunity to be a part of this gastronomic experience once a year, at a reasonable price.”

On March 31 Saturday, the organizers of Wamp design fair are preparing a special selection of the very best competitors of their ” Gombold újra” design contest. You will have the chance to see Hungarian designers creations and accessories in Millenáris park hall B. Entry is free!

5 pm – 6.30 pm: year 2012/2013 fashion shows of the selected designers

A famous and old confectionery in Wesselényi street

Igrinyi confectionery has been open since 1938, that is 74 years. Quite a long time of operation for a shop. Still, it is one of the best sweet shops in town and is very close to Astoria City hostel. Actually just around the corner. The exact address is: 1077 Budapest district 7, Wesselényi street 32.

So get up and try their Somlói galuska or Dobos torta… You’ll love it!
